Three Friends of Winter

Three Friends of Winter was originally created for Free Bodies in Barcelona, Spain in 2022. It is inspired by the concept of resilience as understood in Chinese culture and reflected in Rumi’s poem,“When was I less by dying”. The creative process involved generating moving images, constructing them not from an anthropocentric perspective, but by engaging with our existence as an integral part of nature’s whole.

Three years later, the production is restaged with the third year students of the National School of Dance in Athens, Greece for their graduation performance.
